Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Dendedo mobile application or visiting dendedo.com (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Dendedo, a sole proprietorship based in Herzliya, Israel, operated by Adi Loloi.

2. Description of the service

Dendedo is an AI-powered iOS application designed to help users manage procrastination and pursue personal goals. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized daily task plans, provide motivational support, and gamify the goal-achievement process through XP, streaks, achievements, and cosmetic items.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing in you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you sign in or interact with the Service.
  • One account per person.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at support@dendedo.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing

Dendedo offers auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. Current subscription options are:

  • Dendedo Monthly: USD $19.99 per month, renewing every one (1) month.
  • Dendedo Annual: USD $129.00 per year, renewing every twelve (12) months.

Local prices may differ based on App Store currency, taxes, and regional pricing.

Free trial

New subscribers may be eligible for a four (4) day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the listed price. If you have already used a free trial, you may not be eligible for another one.

Auto-renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal. The renewal price is the same as the original price unless we notify you of a change in advance.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your iOS device: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Dendedo → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds

All subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Dendedo does not directly issue refunds. To request a refund, use Apple's refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Apple Standard EULA

Because Dendedo does not provide a separate end-user license agreement, your use of the Dendedo iOS app is also governed by Apple's Standard EULA for licensed applications, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. In the event of a conflict, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.

5. AI-generated content disclaimer

Dendedo uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate task suggestions, plans, and guidance. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content is general guidance only and is not professional advice.
  • AI suggestions related to health, fitness, diet, or weight management are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program, changing your diet, or making health-related decisions.
  • AI suggestions related to finances or investing are not financial advice. Consult a qualified financial professional.
  • AI suggestions related to legal matters are not legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney.
  • AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or inappropriate suggestions, and may not reflect current information.
  • We do not guarantee any specific result from following AI-generated plans.
  • You are solely responsible for the decisions you make and actions you take based on suggestions produced by the Service.

6. Health and safety

If your goal involves physical activity, exercise, dietary changes, or weight management:

  • Consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider before beginning.
  • Stop any activity immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms, and seek medical attention.
  • The Service is not a substitute for professional medical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • You assume all risk associated with physical activity you undertake based on the Service.

7. Mental health disclaimer

Dendedo helps users address procrastination and pursue personal goals. The Service is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment, and it is not designed for the diagnosis, treatment, or management of any mental health condition.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or thoughts of self-harm, please stop using the Service and contact emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately:

  • United States: 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline)
  • United Kingdom and Ireland: 116 123 (Samaritans)
  • Israel: 1201 (ERAN emotional first aid)
  • European Union: 112 (general emergency)
  • Elsewhere: your local emergency number or a recognized crisis line

When the app detects language in your goal entries that may indicate a crisis, it displays an in-app banner pointing to crisis resources. This feature is offered as a courtesy and is not a substitute for professional help.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, prompt-inject, or otherwise abuse the AI features of the Service.
  • Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise abusive.
  • Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code or models from the Service, except as expressly permitted by law.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, our infrastructure, or other users.
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product.

9. Intellectual property

  • The Dendedo app and website, including their code, design, characters, artwork, branding, and trademarks, are owned by Dendedo and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.
  • You retain ownership of the content you submit through the Service (your goals, journal entries, context documents, follow-up answers, and similar inputs), which we refer to as “Your Content.”
  • By submitting Your Content, you grant Dendedo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.
  • We may use de-identified, aggregated data derived from Your Content (data that no longer identifies you) to operate, improve, and develop the Service.
  • Dendedo does not train artificial-intelligence models on Your Content.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DENDEDO AND ITS OPERATOR, AGENTS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO DENDEDO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dendedo and its operator, agents, contractors, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your misuse of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any applicable law or any right of a third party (including intellectual property or privacy rights), or (d) content you submit through the Service.

13. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. Account deletion is available in the app under Settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if your use poses a risk to us or other users, or if we are required to do so by law. Where reasonably possible, we will notify you of the reason.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
  • Your data is handled after termination as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the notice provision below, the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be the competent courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us in writing at support@dendedo.com describing the dispute. We will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute within thirty (30) days of receiving your notice (the “Cure Period”). You may not initiate formal proceedings before the Cure Period has ended, except to seek injunctive relief to prevent imminent harm.

If you reside in a jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws apply, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of those laws.

15. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, by email, or by posting a notice on dendedo.com before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if that is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions will continue in full force.

17. Force majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, government action, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, or failures of third-party providers.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dendedo regarding the Service, and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings.

19. No third-party beneficiaries

These Terms are for the benefit of you and Dendedo only. Except as expressly stated (for example, Apple's rights as a third-party beneficiary in connection with the App Store), they do not confer any rights on any other person or entity.

20. Assignment

Dendedo may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, to any successor or affiliate, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. Any prohibited assignment is void.

21. Apple-specific terms

The following provisions apply to your use of the Dendedo iOS app, which is licensed to you through the App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and Dendedo, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the app.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
  • Dendedo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your possession or use of it.
  • Dendedo, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property claim against the app.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated by the U.S. government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to your use of the app, and may enforce these Terms against you.
